How To Make Ratatouille

 Ratatouille is a traditional French dish that originated in the Provence region, which thanks to the Pixar movie has become one of the most famous French dishes all around the world. . It is a vegetable stew that typically includes eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, onion, garlic, and tomato. Cooks usually slice the vegetables and cook them slowly in a tomato-based sauce until they are soft and tender. Chefs often enhance the flavor by adding herbs such as thyme, rosemary, and bay leaves.

You can serve ratatouille hot or cold and it is frequently consumed as a side dish or as a vegetarian main course. It is a healthy and flavorful dish that is low in calories and high in fiber and vitamins. People can find variations of the dish in Italian, Greek, and Spanish cuisines.

Ingredients :

  1. Colorful Bell Pepper
  2. Tomatoes 
  3. Onions 
  4. Olive Oil
  5. Celery
  6. Bay leaves
  7. Garlic
  8. Chilly Pepper
  9. Thyme
  10. Eggplant
  11. Zucchini
  12. Marrow Squash
  13. Salt
  14. Basil
  15. Sugar
Procedure : 
  1. Firstly, chop the onions, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, squash and bell pepper all in same proportions.
  2. Then separately heat each of them in a pan using a bit of oil.
  3. Now blend the tomatoes using a mixer and mix all the cooked vegetables with 2 cloves of garlic.
  4. Put it in the oven for an hour or two at 140 °C to 150 °C 
  5. When the mirepoix (mix of vegetables) is in the oven, take you eggplant, zucchini and tomatoes, and chop them into thin slices horizontally.
  6. Now season the vegetables slices with salt, black pepper, olive oil, thyme and thyme.
  7. Take a pan, add some oil and cook the onions till it is soft.
  8. Mix the mirepoix with the onion.
  9.  Now stack the slices of vegetable in colourful order.
  10. After staking the vegetable put it in the pan containing the mirepoix.
  11. Your ratatouille is ready.
