Japanese Cheesecake

 Japanese cheesecake, also known as Japanese cotton cheesecake, is a type of cheesecake that is popular in Japan and in other parts of Asia. We know it for its light and fluffy texture, which is achieved by incorporating beaten egg whites into the cheesecake batter.


Ingredients :

  1. Cream cheese

  2. Sugar
  3. Egg
  4. Butter
  5. Flour
  6. Milk

Procedure :

  1. Take two eggs and separate the egg white and egg yolk.
  2. Now take a bowl and add 35 grams of butter, 100 grams of cream cheese and 76ml of milk.
  3. Heat the bowl with the help of warm water, and whisk it till the mixture is creamy.
  4. Now take 35 grams of flour and mix it with the creamy mixture.
  5. A thicker creamy mixture will form and then add the two yolks and mix it.
  6. Now take the egg white and put it in a mixer. Mix it until it becomes fluffy.
  7. Now mix the egg white and the cream cheese mixture with a spatula.
  8. Now take a baking utensil and spray some non stick oil.
  9.  Then add the cake batter into it.
  10. Preheat the oven at 150°C
  11. Now bake the cake for 20 minutes.
  12. The cake is ready to serve and will be fluffy and jiggly.
  13. You can serve it with a generous sprinkle of powdered sugar.
